Parent Teacher Association

Welcome back to a new school year! A special welcome to the new families who have joined us this year. We are happy you are making an investment in child’s future by joining us at Saint Joseph Regional School.

The Saint Joseph Regional School PTA works in cooperation with the school administration, faculty and staff to support the school and its families. The members of the PTA Executive Board work to encourage a warm, welcoming and inclusive community. The Executive Board organizes and supports many activities within the school as well as producing many family friendly events throughout the year.

All current parents are members of the PTA but we encourage you to become an active member. Whether you have 15 minutes or more to contribute, there is a volunteer role available to suit your schedule and interests. The PTA supports more than 20 different programs and events at Saint Joseph Regional School; the most important being two $1,000 scholarships to students wishing to continue their Catholic School education and Spirit Day.

The best way to connect with the Saint Joseph Regional School community is to jump in and volunteer alongside your fellow parents. We welcome your enthusiasm, skills, ideas, and time! Please like our Facebook page to stay up to date on our activities.

I look forward to another fun and successful school.

Volunteer Positions

The PTA offers a variety of opportunities for parents to volunteer throughout the year. If you would like to volunteer on a regular basis yard duty and pretzels are perfect opportunities to have a consistent volunteer schedule, even if you are only available once a month. We also need parent volunteers for our school events. We will need help with set-up and break-down, as well as during the events. The PTA will ask for volunteers approximately a month before the event.

Yard Duty

Saint Joseph Regional School relies on parent volunteers during recess to be an extra set of eyes on the playground and to assist the teachers with trips to the nurse and restroom. Yard duty is an excellent opportunity to see your child in action at school while providing additional supervision.
