CLASSROOM NOTES and HOMEWORK

Welcome to 1G’s  First Grade 5/21/18   

UPDATE:   

There is a $1.00 Dress Down Day on Friday May 25, 2018.     

  One student per week will be bringing home our classroom Flat Pope Francis project.  Included in a Folder with the Flat Francis stick puppet are prayers to use with your child, and the rest of your family, and some simple directions for the assignment.   Project packs will be sent home on Monday and must be returned to school by Friday of  the same week.  Children are encouraged to take and print pictures with Flat Francis showing some of the ways he enjoyed the stay at their home and spending time with their family.  Each Friday, children will show and share the pictures and the experiences they enjoyed with Flat Francis while he was at their home.  Flat Francis will go home with Isabella Leese this week.   If you’re available on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 stop by for the  SJRS Super Fair @ 5:30 p.m.   

 We will be having our end of  year, Author – Illustrator Day.  Please mark your calendars for this it will be on the morning of June 19th at 9:45 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. here at school.    

 

 

 

Homework for week of 5/21/18:

Monday:    

 Handwriting:  rewrite your Superkid sentences in your Homework notebook.

Spelling: write new list words for Unit 7- 3 times each tonight.  We all these words the er trickers.

Math:  workbook pages 219 – 220

Tuesday: 

 Handwriting:  rewrite your Superkid sentences in your Homework notebook.

Math:  workbook pages 221 – 222

Spelling:  Choose at least 3 words from spelling list 7 and write 3 sentences in your HW notebook.

Wednesday: 

Handwriting:  rewrite your Superkid sentences in your Homework notebook.

Math:  workbook pages 223 – 224.   Math test chapter 11 on Thursday

Spelling: write list 7 words in ABC order tonight.

 Thursday:

Handwriting:  rewrite your Superkid sentences in your Homework notebook.

Spelling: Quiz tomorrow on list 7 words.  STUDY

Math: workbook pages 217 – 218
