Our 6th, 7th and 8th graders have been learning to code in html in the computer lab.  The website below has some great coding tutorials to try at home.

Third graders will be introduced to many different genres of literature this
year.  During the course of the year, they will be assigned different genres that they need to read.   We will spend time in the library talking about the genre assigned and students will be given time to find a 3rd grade level book.  There will be a report due for each of them.  Below is the schedule of due dates for each genre to be completed.  This schedule should allow them plenty of time to find their books in our school library, read them and hand in their reports.
Please encourage your child to read every day!

Biography/Autobiography – Week of February 6th  (report will take the form of a PowerPoint presentation done in our computer lab)

Poetry – Week of April 24th

Realistic Fiction – Week of May 22nd
