Kristi Crouch | Third Grade

I can not believe that this school year is so close to its end!  Earlier in the year we set a goal of reading 1000 books to earn a PIZZA PARTY.  And after counting the books logged in our book logs we made it!  Our class has read 1042 books this year and we are still counting!  The pizza party will be held (in place of lunch) on Wednesday June 7th. Thank you for your help achieving our most awesome goal and encouraging your child to read at home!!  Research shows that reading for pleasure improves overall literacy skills as well as having positive impacts on social skills and academic success!  Keep on reading!!

Good Afternoon!

Today I am sending home your child’s IOWA Testing results.  This is one of the many tools we use to measure student progress.  Please take  some time to review the results.  If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to ask.

Thank You!

Miss Crouch

I am pleased to announce that we raised $400 for Room to Read and read a total of 96 books during our Catholic Schools Week Readathon. The kids are already asking when we can have another Readathon!

Thank you so much for your generous donations and encouragement.

Special thanks to our Mystery Readers that stopped by on Friday,

Mr. Abbott and Mrs. Holzer!
